The history of India and England and the Holmes family history come to life in this book. Laurie R Kings research made me google facts in history that were fascinating. I love Russell in this book which is less action packed but more like Locked Rooms in a journey of self discovery

Over the course of a 30-year career, Eddie Izzard has proven himself to be a creative chameleon, inhabiting the stage and film and television screens with an unbelievable fervor. Born in Yemen and raised in Ireland, Wales, and postwar England, he lost his mother at the age of six. In his teens he dropped out of university and took to the streets of London as part of a two-man escape act; when his partner went on vacation, Izzard kept busy by inventing a one-man act, and thus a career was ignited.

An amazing comic mind, brilliant person. I had no idea about some of her other accomplishments or what it took her to get where she is. I used she/ her pronouns since she now uses Suzy as well as Eddie but I’ve heard her say both or either is fine.

His mom was killed in a horrific accident when he was seven, and grief drove his dad to drink. Charlie learned how to take care of himself—and his dad. When Charlie is seventeen, he meets a dog named Radar and her aging master, Howard Bowditch, a recluse in a big house at the top of a big hill, with a locked shed in the backyard.
