Story
No matter where she runs, rodeo clown Tonya Waters's stalker always finds her. Now he's managed to track her down on the rodeo circuit. If bull rider Seth Starke hadn't saved her, she'd be dead. But when the handsome cowboy is injured in the ring and Tonya rescues him, Seth seems more determined than ever to keep her safe. But can she risk staying at his Tennessee ranch and bringing danger to his family? As her stalker gets more violent, Tonya and Seth vow to outsmart him before he makes good on his ultimate threat: if he can't have her, no one will.

Good Story

Only drawbacks were the inaccurate rodeo parts as others have noted and the heroine having a Southern accent when she was from Montana.

Narrator Detracts
Reviewed: 06-18-24
It's a great story from Dani Pettrey, but this narrator was tough to listen to. Weird inflections that turned a lot of sentences into questions when they shouldnt have been and constant breath catches. I'll finish the series on my e-reader if it's the same narrator.

Narration Painful
Reviewed: 05-10-22
Like many other reviews I agree that the narration was not good. Male voices all sounded like they either had chronic sinus infections or were multiple pack per day smokers. Inflections were off and pronunciations weren't consistent. I stuck thru to the end because I very much enjoyed the story but I will read the rest of the series and not do audio.

Robotic Narrator
Reviewed: 08-24-21
Couldn't finish the audible version as the narrator was so robotic that I kept tuning out and would realize a few minutes later that I didn't even know what had been said. The story had promise so I'll finish it on my kindle.

Struggled to Finush

Found no connection with the main characters or have any idea why they fell in love. Narrator constantly paused in weird places so it was sometimes hard to make sense of the sentence. As the book takes place in my home state the butchering of the pronunciation of different places was an added annoyance.

Couldn't Finish - Not a Good Narrator
Reviewed: 08-31-18
I had to rate the story in order to submit this review but truth is I couldn't get past chapter 2. The narrator pauses constantly and has no emotion in his voice. I even tried speeding it up as one reviewer did, but still couldn't handle it. I'll be buying the kindle version for this one.
