This book is amazing! It's emotional and features mental health in only the way Nicky James can do! These two characters tear at your heartstrings and you just have to clutch your tissues as you watch them reconnect and find their place for one another between everything they've been dealing with. Truly heartwrenching and emotional, this book is also beautifully written in a way only Nicky James can do. Not only that, but the narration was perfect and hit the emotional arcs just right that really immersed you into the story.

I absolutely love this story. Leo and Killian are so sweet together, but I think what I loved most was the aspect of freight-hopping. It's such an interesting and fascinating life that Killian and his friends live. It's such an interesting community that Nicky James brought to the forefront in this series and I love learning new things.
As always, Nick J Russo is fantastic on narration and he brought these characters to life.

The third book in the Momento Mori series by CS Poe is even better than the previous books! I loved it so much. Larkin and Doyle's relationship has grown by leaps and bounds since they met and they're learning how to love each other even though they're so different. Larkin is learning how to be himself with someone who doesn't ask him to be anything but who he is, and Doyle is slowly and quietly opening up to Larkin about his own past and hurts.
Kale Williams brings fantastic narration and these two brilliant characters come to life. He's the perfect narrator for this series and hits the emotional beats in a way I don't think anyone else would have been able to. I cannot wait for the next series and see what happens!

I absolutely love this book! It's so beautiful and heartbreaking in only a way Nicky James knows how to do. My poor heart went through the wringer as these characters fell in love. The narration only served to bring these two to life and I couldn't stop listening for the life of me! This story, this journey, it's one you're going to think about again and again as it's so well-written and beautifully executed. Definitely one of my favorites from this author/narrator duo.

This series is really taking shape. I loved this one more than the first two, which I didn't think was possible. Nicky James and Nick J Russo are magic together. The case is heartbreaking, the characters are complex and wonderful, and every second hand me enthralled.

It's only January but this is my favorite audiobook of the year. I thought I loved this book when I only read it, but Kale Williams did what he does best and brought this brilliantly written book up a thousand levels. He expertly delivers Larkin's monotone lines and tangents, as well as Doyle's good-nature and soft heart, and provides both emotion and individualism that is difficult to convey with characters as complex as these two.
This complex novel is a thrill to read and listen to as you get once again immersed in the world Poe has created. These characters are live and vibrant and Williams is a master at his craft.

This book takes place four years after the start of the series. In those four years, the Wild Cards have lived together, loved together, experienced loss together, and fought together.
Now they're back and they're gaining ground with the rest of the Democratic State Force in the war against the corps, but there are new rumors, new weapons, new dangers around every corner.
The writing in this book is solid. You can see where the authors have improved since the beginning of the series. Their plots are tighter, their character development more subtle and impactful. Everything in the series is heating up and this book brings out the best in everyone on the Wild Cards as they face the newest threat to them and the rest of the Force.
The narration brings this series to life. Kirt Graves nails every single character and gets their unique personalities to come through beautifully. And with a cast this big that's saying something because it could get confusing, but it doesn't here. Not only that, but he brings the emotions out wonderfully. Some parts of this book hurts, a lot, and you can feel the pain these characters go through because of the narration.
This book has everything I've loved from the first four books and then some. It's brilliantly done and I didn't want to end. Now I must wait (Im)patiently for more.

I loved this book! Nick J Russo is a brilliant narrator and brought this story to life perfectly. Quaid and Aslan are once again working together which makes it harder and harder for them to ignore their growing attraction. I loved this book as they're forced to face their feelings even if they're still unsure. Nicky James is doing a brilliant job with these two and I cannot wait for the next book.

This novella is the perfect follow up to the novel. It's told in Cosmo's POV and it's great getting inside his head.
Learning more about the Cloaked Freeway and watching how Cos cements Jude and Madeo's respect is nice. You get a greater insight into this world and it's a nice little reprieve before the next book.
The narrator is great and really brings these characters to life. Can't wait to hear more.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters are wonderfully flawed and the mystery took you for a spin as you tried to figure out what was going on. I figured it out before the main reveal, but it was cleverly written so it wasn't that easy, unlike most mystery-type books. Quaid and Aslan are brilliant characters and I can't wait to see what happens when they finally stop fighting what is right in front of them, it's cute how much they protest.
Nick J Russo is a fantastic narrator and really does these two justice.
