History can be dark, depressing and hard to get through. Dave Anthony reads a story from history to comedian Gareth Reynolds who has no idea what the topic will be about. They are both hilarious and it makes learning about atrocities bearable. Not all stories are about atrocities though, they have some incredible stores about certain inventions, people, places, things, events, companies and more.. Because both you and Gareth have never heard the story there is delight in having someone there to respond and ask the same questions I have when first hearing these stories. I cannot recommend it enough.
if its your first listen I recommend the episodes action park or the ghost one, i think its within the first 100 episodes

The armies of Good and Evil are amassing and everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except that a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture. And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist.
