Story
Life gets complicated when love turns out to be nothing like you expected - and the woman you want is too close to touch. Gretchen Kaiser is a workaholic corporate honcho with issues - she’s got daddy issues, she’s got female-executive-in-a-man’s-world issues, and she’s got one-night-stand issues. What she doesn’t have are love issues. She isn’t looking for it, she doesn’t feel she needs it, and she doesn’t expect to find it…certainly not right under her nose. Kylie O’Brien is the kind of girl who believes in true love and is willing to wait until it shows up at her door.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Entertaining...realistic and modern for those interested in alternative life style romances
Would you be willing to try another book from Georgia Beers? Why or why not?
Absolutely!!!!! And I'd be happy to help select as I am well versed in this line of books
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
The reader was OK...male voices were just so-so. But no complaints as this is a new kine in the business and I want it to be very successful.BUT you will have to market it to the LGBT community who will not know it exists. I was just lucky to find it!!!
Could you see Too Close to Touch being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
No
Any additional comments?
Again, as this is a new endeavor for Audible it needs help in selection and promotion

When a Republican party wins the General Election, they strip the royal family of everything and send them to live on a housing estate in the Midlands. Exchanging caviar for boiled eggs, servants for a social worker named Trish, the Queen and her family learn what it means to be poor among the great unwashed. Is their breeding sufficient to allow them to rise above their changed circumstance or deep down are they really just like everyone else?

In this rich and memorable evocation of the fictional South Riding of Yorkshire are the lives, loves and sorrows of the central characters.
