Smart, Subtle, and Satisfyingly Weird

What I loved most about this collection was its subtlety. None of the stories felt overexplained or heavy-handed. "Circle is Closed" in particular hit hard with its blend of tension and mystery. And "Progeny" had this haunting evolutionary progression that stayed with me. Christopher M. Allport’s voice brought it all to life with a calm, almost clinical edge that worked beautifully.
