Story
“Sometimes teenagers run away...Give her a few days. She’ll be back.” That’s what the police tell Jessica Moore when her seventeen-year-old daughter, Wyn, vanishes. All signs point to this being true. But days become weeks. Weeks become months. And Jessica begins to fear the terrible truth - that she may never see her daughter again. Then, one year later, when all hope seems lost, Jessica gets a flurry of text messages from Wyn that freeze her blood.

Just a few negative notes first. There were definitely places where I rolled my eyes and yelled at the characters in my head. I am not a fan of the time jumping either, but overall I enjoyed the book. I could not guess the ending.

ridiculous story

The summary is terrible. I went into this book thinking the character would decide between two women, not a woman and a ghost. Hated that I even started it, but had to finish to know how it ends.

Story
Amherst, New Hampshire, is known for its lush landscapes and pastoral beauty. It's also the home of The One, a hideous little ghost boy named Samson, who's been dead for centuries and feeds off the life force of the living. His smile is as alluring as he is deadly. Now, Shane Ryan must destroy him before Samson grants the Watchers eternal life.

I have to honestly say that after 9 books the series did not get tired or boring. It was still interesting and just as exciting as all the others before. Great series to read.

I am impressed with this novel. For a book 3 the story is still going strong. I was surprised by the ending, which is pretty hard to do.

Story
Ex-marine Shane Ryan is a ghost hunter whose troubled past haunts him almost as much as the ghosts he encounters in the line of duty. He's the best. And his reward for excellence? The punishment of being in high demand for jobs to eradicate the worst kind of ghosts - the kind that kill.

Shane Ryan Does it Again

This book is a great second book in the Berkeley Street series. Although I am not a fan of the narrator, the story is worth putting up with him.
