Story
Meet Roger. Skilled with words, languages come easily to him. He instinctively understands how the world works through the power of story. Meet Dodger, his twin. Numbers are her world, her obsession, her everything. All she understands, she does so through the power of math. Roger and Dodger aren’t exactly human, though they don’t realize it. They aren’t exactly gods, either. Not entirely. Not yet. Meet Reed, skilled in the alchemical arts like his progenitor before him. Reed created Dodger and her brother. He’s not their father. Not quite. But he has a plan.

An Adventure to Remember
Reviewed: 08-20-24
This is one of those books that runs across the readers mind randomly for years. It's a grand adventure, thought provoking, and unique. The way that the author has masterfully written this work creates a breathtaking story filled with shades of gray and an endless journey that will continue long after the reader has read the last page.
The narrator's voice is so diverse that each character has a distinct sound, pitch, accent, and dialect. The narrator adds to the story immensely and brings it to life.
If you need an epic adventure to read, this is your book.

Story
After an accident leaves a loving father in a coma, on the verge of life and death, he travels to another place. On the outside, he was in a hospital bed; but, on the inside he was in place he calls, “The Place Between Here and There.” It was a place where time did not exist; where people were spirits; and where he learned the wisdom of the universe. This book details his journey to this wondrous place, then back to Earth, where he must rehabilitate from grave injuries, only to then experience the worst tragedy a parent can imagine.
