ここぞというプレゼンで緊張し、思ったように言葉が出てこない。
上司との面談で、言いたいことが思うように口をつかない。
大事なパーパットが入らない(笑)。
持てる力と言いましたが、力を持っていなければ、蓄えればいいし、鍛えればいい。
しかし、力は持っている(はず)なのに、それが十分に発揮できない。
そんな悔しいことはありません。

持てる力を存分に発揮でなかった体験。
本書では、持てる力を十分に活かしきれない原因として、
自分の内側における自分自身との対話(セルフトーク)に着目しました。
人は、意識するしないにかかわらず、終始、自分自身との対話を内側で繰り広げています。
自分に言葉を投げかけ、問いかけ、そこに答えをつくりだそうとする。
言ってみれば、「コーチ」と「クライアント(コーチを受ける人)」の1人2役を自分でやっているようなものです。
コーチの自分の問いかけが良ければ、よい答えがそこには生まれるでしょうし、
問いかけが悪ければ、あまりパフォーマンスを向上させることに結びつかない言葉やイメージが生じるものです。
思う存分自分の持てる力を発揮したいというのは、いつの時代にも人の心理にあります。
ただ、今は、変化のスピードがますます速くなり、様々な場面で競争が加速し、
競争に打ち勝つためのスピーディーな共創が求められる時代です。
であるからこそ、4打数4安打で行きたいと思うのが人の心情ではないでしょうか。
本書が、みなさん自身が、持てる力を思う存分発揮することのお手伝いとなれば、
そして、みなさんの周りの人が、みなさんの力によって、
持てる力をいかんなく発揮できる一助となれば、
