私はおよそ20年くらい前から、経営者など多くのリーダーとお会いし、さまざまな人々の言動を見るなかで、感じたこと、気がついてほしいことを言葉にしてきました。そうした「語録」を一覧表にしたメモを、私は「坂本教授のなるほど経営語録50選」と名づけました。当初のメモの数は50だったのです。その後増えても、70程度でした。 その語録の一部を、私は毎週開催される社会人学生を対象とした大学院での講義や、経営者や経営幹部向けの研修会で紹介してきました。

やがてこの拙い語録は、徐々に全国各地の人の目にふれていき、たくさんの方から「1冊の本にまとめてほしい」という要望をいただくようになりました。 しかし今回もまた、出版までは苦しい日々が続きました。すでにつくった語録は70程度ありましたが、これを機会に100の語録を紹介しようと考えたからです。また、その語録の意図するところを、限られた文字数で解説する必要があったからです。

この本が、日々一生懸命に生きている方々のよりどころとして、少しでもお役に立てればと思います。
