王子製紙、日本郵船、帝国ホテル、キリンビール、サッポロビールなど、
500あまりの企業の設立に携わった渋沢栄一。
その成功は、座右の書とした『論語』の教えに基づいたものでした。
常に「論語（＝道徳）と算盤（＝商売）は一致すべし」と説き、 目先の利益のみを優先した経済活動は結果的に人々の生活を脅かし、
ひいては国家の安全すら危うくさせると訴えかけます。

The author, Eiichi Shibusawa, is cited by Peter Drucker as one of the world's entrepreneurs.
This book is a representative work of Eiichi Shibusawa.
Just like the titles of the Analects and the Abacus.
The Analects are ethics and the abacus is calculation.
Entrepreneurs have to be careful about both ethics and calculation.
You can't make a living from the Analects alone. Also, the abacus alone reduces a person to a savage beast.
This book preached the importance of balancing the Analects and the abacus in order to live as a human being.
A good book with new discoveries no matter how many times you read it.
By the way, in Japan, it is decided that this author will be appointed as the design of the 10,000 yen banknote in the near future.
A valuable book that understands the way of thinking of Eiichi Shibusawa, one of Japan's leading entrepreneurs.
