Publisher's summary

1/2986: Publisher's Pack 2 contains Ice and Vow, books three and four of the 1/2986 series.

People think I survived. But that’s an illusion.

After two years of hell in prison camp, Micka wants only one thing: To end the Brothers and Sisters of the Apocalypse. She embarks on a race across 5,000 kilometres of ice and snow, knowing it’s a suicide mission. But she has nothing left to lose.

I’m the incendiary of savages. I burn down thrones.

The Brothers and Sisters of the Apocalypse aren’t happy with Micka. She’s blown up their satellite network and now passes valuable intel to their fiercest enemy - the Sequencer Council.

But nothing goes as Micka plans, and soon the two most powerful global organisations want her dead.

Lines blur between friend and foe.

And Micka is out of options.

Award-winning author Annelie Wendeberg delivers a gritty dystopian series that brims with fast-paced action and suspense. Based in climate science, Micka’s world gives a terrifying glimpse into our possible future.

Give it a chance, you will not regret it

The first book in the series, half way through, I couldn't get into it, I actually returned it, the laying in bed I could not stop thinking about it, the different possibilities and scenarios that could happen, I redownload it, and am so glad I did, this series sparks All emotions, So well written and as always Emma Galvon is amazing, adding life to words, from the 2nd half of the 1st, to the last word of the 4th, I've never been so happy to have so much work to do that gave me the opportunity to listen so many hours in a row, 3 days I listened to All

Good descriptions but drawn out story.

Too much is drawn out without creating substance in the book. There are times I wanted to skip ahead badly because I was like GET ON WITH IT. And definitely I felt this was more of a book for the female variety to be honest not a book I would listen to again but worth a credit as the narrator does any absolutely stellar job! A++ to Emma Galvin.

One foot still hanging over the edge...

Great. Gritty. Sexy. Captivating. All words describing the series. Until the end. Meh. Mediocre. Confusing. Misleading. Black screen. I actually thought there was still another book I was missing upon finishing book 4. Nope. Loved it from the start. Hated the rushed , convoluted, inconclusive, no closure ending tho. Sorry. Another book could have been the ribbon in the otherwise fantastic series. So many plot twists, grit, pain, redemption, pain, etc. I was desperate to download the finale. Nope. But, alas, I’m not a writer. I assume the author and editors saw something in the ending I don’t see. I’d re-read but I don’t think I missed anything. I loved the slang, witticisms, gritty humor, sorrow and shreds of light. I feel as hollow as the main character felt. Except there’s no end to it. Maybe that was the idea, i.e. M. Night Shamalamadingdong. I’m sorry. I invested time. And $$.. The ending was aborted and I may not return to further novels by this author.

ended abruptly... how many books will they make?

Ended abruptly. Cutting a book into tiny sections should be illegal. Oh well, it sucks.
