Best so far. Will listen a few more times before NCLEX.

What did you like best about this story?

Detailed rationale with up-to-date questions. Liked that all 8 categories were covered.

What about Dan Carroll’s performance did you like?

Pronunciations were usually good. Is he Canadian? LOL

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I passed.

Good rationale. Nice Tempo. All subjects covered.

Content is pretty good, but the ridiculous pronunciations of even basic medical terms is so frustrating I find myself yelling at the narrator instead of listening to the next question. Wouldn't buy again unfortunately.

Narrator should have a med term background!

I found this helpful because I could listen to it when I was driving or doing chores. It helped increase my study time but I would say it’s not a replacement for sitting down and studying from the text book also.

Helpful

If you could sum up 1000 Nurse Practice Questions for the NCLEX Exam in three words, what would they be?

Narrator must go!

Who was your favorite character and why?

N/A

Would you be willing to try another one of Dan Carroll’s performances?

I definitely would not try any of his other performances.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

N/A... it is for study purposes.

Any additional comments?

I have tried on a few occasions to overlook the poor narration and focus on the content. The content itself is pretty decent, however, I found the narration constantly caused me to lose focus on the questions which defeats the purpose of the book. It is baffling how someone would hire a narrator without a medical background to narrate this book. He is constantly mispronouncing words and pausing, which makes it a horrible experience. I really wanted to finish this book but listening to him made me want to pull my hair out.

It's A Difficult Listen...

I loved the direct question and answer method and the slow reading, with I would have found this during nursing school.

It helped
