About this listen

“I’m always eager to dive into a good story about sisters—and that’s exactly what this book is! If you like heartfelt stories, you’ll devour 15 Summers Later!”—Brenda Novak, New York Times bestselling author

15 summers ago, everything changed…

Ava Howell seemed to have it all. She moved away from Emerald Creek, Idaho, married the love of her life and published a bestselling memoir. But she never expected that her husband would feel so betrayed by a secret from her past—the truth of what happened to her and her sister all those years ago—that he’d walk away. Now Ava is back home and trying to move on with the only person who can truly understand…

Following years of healing, Madison Howell is finally happy. After college she built a no-kill shelter where she works with animals every day, and she’s in love with the town veterinarian, Dr. Luke Gentry. But she can’t ever bring herself to tell him. Years ago, his dad died protecting Madi and her sister, so how could he ever love her back?

With the truth laid bare, and the past that Ava and Madison have worked so hard to leave behind threatening everything they have built for themselves, the Howell sisters’ reunion is bittersweet. And as Ava and Madi attempt to remedy the rifts in their lives and reconcile their futures, they must face the demons of their past together.

Don't miss the enchanting holiday tale, THE DECEMBER MARKET by RaeAnne Thayne, a story of second chances, family, and unexpected love, set in the charming town of Shelter Springs, where the spirit of Christmas has a way of bringing two reluctant hearts together.

This was a very believable story. It just fit together perfectly. Having a disabled person in a very successful position was a huge part of this story.Well done!

Forever love.

I have been a fan of RaeAnne from almost the beginning of her writing career. I love how she brings the story to life. We all go along the journey of friendships with the side characters. Love how she describes everything as I am a visual reader-listener. I had a few credits so purchased and began to listen yesterday. The story flows beautifully and you can see that she loves writing. I feel like I have known these characters forever and hope to see more of their lives in a future story. Vanessa does an impressive performance of everyone.

Enjoyed seeing the story from different POV's

I loved how it had a different storyline than just a romance book. Good characters and occupations, descriptions of places and events.

Different story line

I love the story because it tells of a bond between two sisters. Through trials and tribulations a bond that can't be broken. I also liked the narrator.

I absolutely loved this book!

That was beautiful
The book felt real not fiction. You wanted to google parts of the book to know more curse fiction.
This book was just inspiring and moving. I hated the one part though. It was called the end. I think I will go suffer book hangover for a few days

Wow and I wish I could read Ghost Lake

The story is mediocre at best and repetitive. If I hear the phrase “stupid book” one more time it will be too soon.

Drags on and on
