About this listen

Cute story, spoken clearly and I have to swallow the cost because I need to present Momotaro, The Peach Boy as a kamishibai story at the upcoming Matsuri. I’m bad at speaking Japanese so I have to listen to the Japanese names on repeat so I don’t make a fool of myself on stage. I’m scarred from a particular performance of the bamboo princess. Apparently I wasn’t saying her name right and a particularly indignant audience member had the gaul to call me out on it and tried to correct me right then and there. I’ve gone through all the various courses of action that could be taken and the correct one is to just study my butt off. Learn the tough words forwards and backwards so I can go into the performance with extraordinary confidence. I’ll not be heckled by a hag this time. This matsuri will be different.
One listen to the sample and you’ll understand. This reading off this story is spoken with pitch perfect dictation and if you fancy yourself a kamishibai man, this is an invaluable resource.
