Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story

Warm and Inspiring
I was looking for inspiration for the coming year and I found it in this lovely book!
Each of the 52 prescriptions is a short little idea followed by suggestions on how to implement it in your life. This format is perfect for those who want a quick hit of inspiration.
My favorite prescriptions were #8 (Give Yourself Permission - It's Okay to Be Human), #21 (Feel the Love - Celebrate the Memory of Someone Special), #51 (Harness the Energy of Intention - Get the Most from Every Experience).
This audiobook edition was read by the authors which was lovely as they really knew the material and their calm, caring voices added an additional layer to each prescription.
I love that most prescriptions are two to three minutes long (all are under five minutes) which makes it easy to listen to the entire book in a single sitting and then revisit each as you desire.
I listened to the entire book at one time to prepare for the coming year and plan to listen to each week's prescription every day for that week. The prescriptions are such short yet powerful nuggets that they'll be perfect to listen to while I'm getting ready in the morning.
I highly recommend this excellent book and I look forward to future releases from the authors.

Short thoughts on Inspiring change
Any additional comments?
I am enjoying this book very much. I listen to a lesson each day or two and try to take time to reflect on the thoughts and ideas presented. I think the book is set up to have a lesson a week but I am finding that moving along more quickly works better for me. It is positive and presents a hopeful vision of looking at things in life differently.

What an amazing guide for 2020…
The audiobook is read beautifully by the authors.
They began referencing the ancient cultures of humanity. (the stuff that has been working for thousands of years)
I recommend this to anyone, really. Yes, it works wonders for those relationships, but anyone deserves to be happy.
Forgiveness, mindfulness, sexiness. They really cover it all. It makes all the quick fixes irrelevant. I started looking at life differently within the first 15 minutes. I've heard before that we’ve been conditioned to think a certain way my whole life, but their analogies helped the concept sink in more.
Somehow through all their years f experience, they really did find the method that works best for those seeking happiness.
There are imagery and deep commentaries from their own students that were ALL somewhat related to what I was going through.
I really like how they made mindfulness easy reality using a body-mind connection. It was instantaneous relief when I used these relaxing techniques.
Thank you very much to the authors and I look forward to any new releases!
PS The magic door technique did it for me. I don’t want to give away too much, but this is the one you’ll be able to use right away and it’s only #5. Wish you the best!
