Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

The Qur'an, believed by Muslims to be the word of God, was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad 1,400 years ago. It is the supreme authority in Islam and the living source of all Islamic teaching; it is a sacred text and a book of guidance that sets out the creed, rituals, ethics, and laws of the Islamic religion. It has been one of the most influential books in the history of literature. Recognized as the greatest literary masterpiece in Arabic, it has nevertheless remained difficult to understand in its English translations.

GREAT GUIDE FOR BEGINNERS
This is a great guide for anyone curious about meditation and who might be needing a little assistance on where to get started. The author supports those readers who are more open to empathy and intuition in using meditation to receive messages and open themselves to the abundance of healing and love energy. I enjoyed the explanation on how slowing brain waves creates more relaxation, reduces stress and increases memory and brain function. If you are ready to begin your journey to connect with the divine light within you and all around you, I highly recommend this book!

Find the place between deep sleep and fully alert
I personally relate to the author since I am also a nurse! I appreciated her brief description of neurobiology using vocabulary that is very accessible for those without such training. This book is for people who have always wanted to meditate but don't know how. Included is a step-by-step guide to meditation with many tips.
I have been practicing meditation for decades, and I love its positive effects on my brain and emotions.

Excellent resource
So, I just finished "A Beginner's Guide to Meditation: For Empaths and Intuitives," and let me tell you, it’s like finding the missing piece of your self-care puzzle. As someone who’s always been a bit of an emotional sponge, I was on the lookout for something to help me manage the overwhelm, and this book hit the spot. I’m not gonna lie, I was a bit skeptical at first – meditation always seemed like this lofty thing that I could never get right. But the practical steps and relatable advice in this book made me feel seen and understood. It's like having a wise friend gently guiding you through the process, offering tools and tips that are actually manageable and not just fluff.
