Great Book for Opera Lovers

What did you love best about A Cadenza for Caruso?

Great story wrapped in historical accuracy of the premiere of Girl of the Golden West. Very convincing portrayal of the singers, composer, director, conductor and general manager. The reader was entertaining for the most part except for his inability to pronounce the names of very important operas.

What did you like best about this story?

Historical picture of early days of Metropolitan Opera
