About this listen

In the privacy of her office, a psychiatrist torments a man suffering from a faulty memory. Or does she? When treatment becomes a struggle for power, who can separate reality from illusion, lies from truth, sanity from insanity, guilt from innocence? And what is at stake in the world outside the room?

Spend a suspenseful session with Robert Havelmann and Dr. D. S. Evans in John Kessel's mind-bending dance of reality, fantasy, and psychological horror, "A Clean Escape".

Can't say a whole lot, without giving away too much of the plot. Like most short stories, it is the surprise ending that makes the story and I thought this one was pretty good.

Narrator is the author and he does not have a professional sounding voice, but for such a short story, I do not find that important.
