Her name is Autumn. And she has a story too terrifying to ignore.

When seventeen-year-old Eli Ackerman sees a young woman stranded on the side of the road in the rain, he does what any decent person would do. He offers her a ride. But Eli quickly realizes that this simple act of kindness is not going to be so simple when she tells him her story. Her name is Autumn, she says, and she's from the future.

It's a joke, right? It has to be. But when the punchline doesn't come, Eli suspects that Autumn concocted the story to protect herself from a truth too terrifying to face. He gets a hint of what that truth might be when he sees the bruises on her back and realizes that someone has been hurting her. And when he sees the car in his rear view mirror, when he sees the silhouette of a man outside his bedroom window, Eli fears that Autumn is being followed.

She won't tell him the truth, but Eli knows that the man who hurt Autumn is coming after her, that he wants to go on hurting her, and that he will kill anyone who gets in his way.

This book was good. This story has part where it is sad. I found it especially sad when he learned the truth about his Dads death. I understand why his mom was trying to cover for him. He also found love and was able to teach them to forgive others as someone did for him

A Cure for Time was definitely a well written book with twists and turns that I did not see coming. I started listening to the book and was hooked from the first chapter. You may think that the female main character is three cards short of a full deck but she does have major points if you think about it and step outside of the box that you know. I really enjoyed this unique story. The narrator was absolutely phenomenal with his emotions and voiced it really brought the story to life. The story contains some of the main things that interests me drama, suspense, mystery, science, and love. I highly recommend this book because it really will make you think. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own volition.

Kenneth Preston wrote an amazing mystery thriller, A cure for time is well written. Sean ‘DrC’ Cordry did an amazing job on the narration, he brought the story to life. The story is unique, it keeps you on your toes. It has many twists and turns you don’t see coming. It’s an emotional roller coaster of everything from drama and sadness. There is also suspicion,love, mystery, and thinking outside the box. The female protagonist seems not all there in the beginning once but once you get to know her story you realize there’s more to it. There’s a lot to the male protagonist too. Highly recommend. I did get the book for free for a honest review.
