About this listen

A new chapter begins....

J.J. Graves is trying to put the wounds caused by her father behind her. She and Jack have a shot at peace for the first time in their marriage, and it's new territory for them.

A mortuary convention on a South Carolina island has J.J. and Jack combining work with pleasure. But things change quickly when a tropical storm traps them - and a colorful cast of morticians - in the hotel. Murder is the last thing they expect, but a dead body killed in a way only a mortician could accomplish has them racing against the clock to find the killer.

A Dirty Job is an entertaining addition to the J.J. Graves mystery series. J,J, and Jack are a great team and their work and personal relationship is well balanced. I love this series and look forward to the next book being added to the Audible library.

I loved the story. One day I'm going to figure it out before they get to it in the book...and Sheldon..my comic relief. The only issue I have is that everytime the reader says "Jack asked".
which happens ALOT it sounds more like jacka@$.. and its very distracting..maybe Jack can inquire, question, anything but constantly ask.

Loved it..only one thing

I've read this series from the beginning. First off, I think it's a book that is better read then listened to. The narrator was okay but some of her voice characterizations were off putting and annoying. I forgot how the habits of the main character JJ are irritating. The story was just "eh" and I couldn't wait for it to be over.

Becoming increasing disappointed with this series
