Seemed Uncompleted

John Calhoun seems to have had a pretty good grasp of political concepts and political history. Yet, at the end of this book, just as he was beginning to segue into a description of America's form of government; the book abruptly ended.

Mel Foster's affecting of a "southern accent" while reading this book was for me, very distracting.

By Calhoun not about Calhoun

I still want to learn more about him and his impact on the early republic. this wasn't much help.
