 Even though our grandfather is no longer with us, I wanted to send a letter to him spiritually. My grandfather grew up in 1940s Chicago, Illinois, in a strict Christian family household; his name was Peter with the same surname. Times were tough as the world was coming out of the great depression, but my grandfather seemed to put on his "big boots" and persevere when most today might have crumbled under the pressure of those times. This is a dedication letter to a man who was tough, but soft in the right moments.
