Publisher's summary

In 2004, Julie Rowe was a happy wife and mother. Then her health took a turn for the worse. While in a weakened state, her spirit left her body and entered the Spirit World. An ancestor named John greeted her and showed her many wonderful places there. He also allowed her to read from the Book of Life, which showed her a panorama of the earth's past, present, and future.

Julie saw the lives of many historical figures, such as Adam and Eve, Enoch, Noah, and Moses. She witnessed the Savior's mortal life, including his crucifixion and resurrection. She also saw the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ through the prophet Joseph Smith, and key events that have led to the Church's growth.

Then Julie was shown upcoming world events that will be both tragic and glorious. She saw earthquakes, tsunamis, famines, plagues, and wars, but she also witnessed how the Lord is watching over His people and is preparing places of refuge to protect them from the coming calamities. Julie was filled with joy as she saw the Saints establish the New Jerusalem and other Cities of Light in preparation for the Savior's Second Coming.

Prior to her return, she was told that at a future time she would be expected to tell others about her experience. That time has come.

As you listen to Julies experience, your life will be changed as you feel the Lord's love and concern for each of us.

All non-fiction

When I first read this book I was on the edge of my seat however Julie Rowe has lost her credibility with so many people because of her affiliation with Chad Daybell and his wife both found guilty as murderers.🫣

Loved the book, needed a different narrator

The book was great. I really enjoyed it. The narrator seemed a bit young and a little dry. Speed was great but needed more emotion.

Will read again

This is very similar to other NDE books I have read but there is slightly more detail and is very good to know. I enjoyed it.

I liked the end of it

Too much of it was re-producing history as I already know it. I did like her description of Joseph and Potipher's wife. It made it come alive for me. I thought when she would not describe anything about her meeting with the Lord as weak. Give us something - come on. But I respect her efforts and I believe her story and wish her the best in her ministry.

A Great Book

It became more interesting toward the end. I was captivated. I am inspired to pray and find out if this is true.

Amazing story, monotone narrator. Why isn’t this book more popular?!

The detail that is gone into Julie’s NDE is inspiring and different than others I’ve read. The second part sounds very similar to an account in Visions of Glory but very specific to how she saw it and even explains things differently than VoG. It gives me chills to hear two similar accounts of future events.
Even though the narrator is 100% monotone through the whole book, the content is gold. If you’re able to listen to the sample and be ok with it then go for it. I’m able to get through books faster by listening and multitasking so I knew reading the physical book wouldn’t be an option. I couldn’t stop listening to the story, very inspiring!

Fascinating

Watch the news of the people fleeing from Syria from terrorists and the murders committed by Isis. They chant death to America and they are coming. We in America will be next to need to flee. I feel this book is another voice of warning to get prepared to survive.

Don't Believe it

Would you try another book from Julie Rowe and/or Emma Daybell?

No

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Overly dramatic, not insightful

Would you listen to another book narrated by Emma Daybell?

No

Could you see A Greater Tomorrow being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No, definitely B- grade actors who are on the downhill side of careeer

Any additional comments?

In other Life After Death books I get new insights about the purpose of life and what may happen after death. This book just regurgitated old well known gospel stories and added an over-hyped end-of-the-world scenario. Total economic collapse, riots, earthquakes, then after all that the Mexicans are going to come into the US a destroy all remaining infrastructure!!

A Book Everyone Should Read

Any additional comments?

I read this book and look forward to hearing it now.I have studied some near death experiences from other books. What makes this account different is that Julie was given a view of the future events that will occur. There are things very comforting about what's in the future and there is a warning for us all. It's a great blessing the Lord has provided us.In case you have ever read part of the bible, take a look at the following verse - Joel 2:28.
Great work Julie! I know it must be hard to come out public with this. Thank you for your great service!

Good

Narrator sounds like a young teen girl with no experience. That was painful but the book & content are good!
