About this listen
Not only has Camryn Stuart bought an old house sight unseen, but it seems the house she bought may be haunted. Having only seen it online, she feels drawn to the beautiful Victorian on Birch Street and to the small town of Sawyerville, New York in the foothills of the Catskill mountains. However, the house is nothing like what she expected, having stood empty for years, and immediately strange things begin to happen.
As work begins to restore the Old Harrington House, as it is known in town, Camryn dives into researching the history of her house and discovers that decades ago, the owner mysteriously disappeared without a trace.
Andrew Harrington is a World War II veteran who has finally found happiness in his childhood summer house on Birch Street after a war injury prevents him from taking over the family business. He marries the perfect girl, and it seems like life in Sawyerville couldn’t get any better. When it is discovered that his father’s company finances have been tampered with by a trusted employee, Andrew begins to investigate. To what lengths will the thief go to cover up his crimes and get away with the stolen money?
The past and present intertwine leading Camryn to discover her own family secrets and her connections to this town and this house that holds secrets of its own.
