About this listen

In March 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic shut down the world. My parents, Mom age 88 and Dad age 93, were living in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. Then in April, Mom developed an inoperable brain hemorrhage, and that same month, Dad became infected with Covid-19. Both would die in the space of a month.
Navigating a parent’s death is tough, even when it’s somewhat expected, as was the case with my father after his CHF diagnosis in 2017. But losing both parents so close together added to the devastation. And on top of that grief were the challenges and complications of navigating their critical diagnoses during a global pandemic.
This book is about that time, my parents’ lives, and my life as their daughter.
