Interesting

This book follows the trials, tribulations and joys of married life for Elizabeth and Darcy. Many others from the original P&P area featured, plus new characters. There are many interesting tidbits about medicine and midwifery, life in the Regency period and other subjects. I found them to be well worth listening to the book.

Absolutely wonderful!

The book is very true to the time. In which it was written… Some disagree with the couple choices but I absolutely loved the story told by Mary Sherwood. Stevie Zimmermann is absolutely wonderful, and I cannot get enough of her the way she portrays every character is phenomenal, and I can even hear her voice as I read the third volume to the trilogy.

For people like me, who are obsessed with Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth, and regency novels. This series was great because he gave you the story of what happened after the marriage not just a different version of it. I am blown away. I am saddened to see some negative reviews, but we are all entitled to our own opinions and this is my honest opinion.

Amazing writer

I love how I feel like I am a part of the story. I also love the little twists in the story to keep you wondering what will happen next.
I am so excited to start volume 3!

Inaccurate phrasing

The phrase “rolled his/her eyes” was used over and over again. I don’t believe that it is accurate to the time period or behavior of the characters in the novel. Even if it were, it should not be used so frequently the reader feels they are in a room full of middle schoolers. Unfortunately not caught by the editor, this made the novel more difficult to listen to than to read.

ultimately sickening

so tedious. there were some interesting plot twists and ideas and this series, but so predictable that you had to put up with the description of their love making so regularly
