About this listen

This collection of twelve stories was my first foray into writing back in 2019. In them you will find everything from medical drama to Bigfoot. There's romance, ghosts and just about everything in between. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them. Below is the first paragraph from several of the twelve stories included in this book.

The Gift
The bus was cold; Ruth hugged herself to keep warm. She was on her way to work. Just like every other day, she had to work to support her family. Ruth was divorced and had three young children to care for. It wasn’t that she didn’t have help from her family, she did, but money wasn't coming off the trees back in 1955. Never stumbled upon one exploring in the woods, have you? Just because I’ve never seen one personally, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. There have been sightings of what we call Bigfoot all over the world. In the Himalayas, they call it Yeti; in Canada they call it Sasquatch. My point is that they are seen all over the world and throughout the ages....

Virus (written in 2019 before COVID hit)
Victoria still had a nagging cough. She couldn’t seem to shake it, but the rest of the U.S. well that was a different story. The sickness hit about six months ago. The first case was in San Francisco, from there, it snowballed across all of California and then throughout the entire United States. Thousands upon thousands had died. The CDC had jumped on it fast, but so far, they were unable to locate the original host, and that was six months ago, so whoever patient zero was, had probably succumbed to the horrible virus long ago. That being said, there was no cure or vaccine....
