You need to hear this book!
With a gentle spirit and a world of everyday wisdom Jakie Listen shares the ups and downs, the twists and turns, and the unexpected joys of farming, business, faith, and life. Hi voice is both soothing and captivating. His message is the encouraging word we need in our everyday stand to be good folks in a tough world.

Walking Through the Fire
I was encouraged every step of the way, seeing the trials, wondering how after each moment how things would go. You see, as Jackie’s son, I never knew the deep ravines that my father and my family went through in great detail. As I listened through each moment, there were glimpses of my childhood, and moments before my birth I never really understood as Dad shielded me from those darkest times. The message of this book, reminds me that we as a people are all likened to a diamond. We all have that potential, yet it’s the struggle that makes us shine. Just like a diamond, we sometimes must go through fire in life. Will we turn around and make other choices that could delay us, or completely change the path? Or… will we walk through any fire and come out stronger with more resilience? This book not only encouraged me that everyone has that potential, but do we all go through? I challenge you to read this and not want to take a step forward and enter… “A Place Called Through”…
