Publisher's summary

Dr. Joseph Murphy (1898-1981), who spent considerable time in India learning Hindu philosophy, helped form a new church in America with Hindu ideologies that later became one of the largest New Thought congregations in the country. Murphy eventually married, and he earned a PhD in psychology from the University of Southern California. He was a prolific writer and is the author of more than 30 books on the occult and Eastern philosophy. In this lecture, Murphy talks about the power of the subconscious mind.
