About this listen

He signed up to fight with visions of honor and glory, of fighting for king and country, of making his family proud at long last. But on a battlefield during the Great War, Robert Jones is shot and wonders how it all went so very wrong and how things could possibly get any worse.

He'll soon find out. When the attacking enemy starts to shape-shift into a nightmarish demonic force, Jones finds himself fighting an impossible war against an enemy that shouldn't exist.

A Song for No Man's Land is the first in an ongoing series.

The story is very real and the action is genuinely terrific. Outstanding writing and marvelous narration. The characters and the action are spellbinding. The author is clearly one I want to follow and I will be seeking him out again.

Absolutely Outstanding

If you could sum up A Song for No Man's Land in three words, what would they be?

My personal opinion of this book is probably irrelevant. I didn't like it, yet I loved it. This is truly a sci-fi twist on World War 1. I truly hope there is more for me to love/hate! :-)

Tim Gerard Reynolds is a top 10 narrator all the way!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If I had the time I would have probably listened to it in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

Despite my "tongue and cheek" comments - I would recommend this to anyone who likes an "alternate" take on historical events.

Different, yet somewhat incomplete
