So cute!
This was a really cute novella! Right along the lines of what I was hoping to read about at some point — the fated bonds. The author really tied this part of the story in perfectly, and it was done in such a captivating way. Now I really can’t wait to see who ends up fated to be together from the characters! The narrator also does a really good job bringing the characters to life.

Amazing Message
By far my favorite book in this series so far! I absolutely love the adventure of learning to work together. Remembering that just because they are fated mates doesn’t mean that they have to find the romance right now. This book has a wonderful message about working together & working on your friendships. The romance comes later. I would recommend this to all audiences because its message that everyone needs & it is told beautifully!
It’s also a great insight to one of the couples at the institute of learning. I have a special love for novellas because they can offer insight & deeper backstories to beloved characters.

Work on your friendships
Friendship doesn't just happen. A true friend cares about the well-being of others. I like reading about this school because relationships are built by trying to help each other.

First Romance in the "Defenders Of The Realm"
I enjoyed this first fantasy romance in the "Defenders of the Realm" series. Twila and Valiant were fated mates, but they just couldn't get along. They stumbled upon a treasure map. Would they be able to work through their differences in order to find the hidden treasure? The story was charming. The characters were delightful. There was some amusing dialogue. I'm looking forward to more stories in the "Defenders of the Realm" world. Zane Boyer's narration was great, and his performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review which included my opinions.
