About this listen
I wasn't dreaming of a white Christmas, nor were my troubles out of sight. I had a demanding job and pressing deadlines, which meant it was far from being a silent night.
When I asked my grandma if I could stay in her cabin over the holiday, she was more than thrilled to have me back home. But she failed to mention the sexy handyman remodeling the house, or that he might not make it down the mountain with the snowstorm moving in.
Being stranded in a blizzard in the middle of nowhere was bad enough, but add in an unexpected roommate and only one bed, and things were nothing like I had expected. Soon, it wasn't visions of sugarplums I had dancing in my head. It was naughty thoughts about the guy I shouldn't be touching, instead.

Tasteful Spicy Xmas!
This excitingly intimate holiday tale is a MUST listen!
The narrator delightfully leads us through the sheer pleasures of chance romance. I recommend this book for couples, lovers, and those longing for a Christmas affection. You will not be disappointed. I feel as though Baca has found a perfect match in this narrator and I look forward to future collaborations.

Snowed in cuteness!
Lucy’s grandmother owns a tiny cabin in the mountains away from everything and it's just the place she needs to go to to escape her hectic corporate job over the holidays. After getting grandma's okay to stay there, she realizes someone else is in there, and there's no way she can head back to town with the storm that followed her, and that means the unexpected guest can't leave either.
This is the perfect book for cozying up next to the fire on a cold winter night! I always love a story where the main characters spend a short amount of time together and you can feel that it's love, not lust. Richard and Lucy have fallen for each other fast and I loved every minute of it. I also loved how Richard talked sense into Lucy about her job. And the epilogue is super cute! I loved how we got to see Lucy’s family in it.
Apparently this is Chloe Godard’s first audiobook and she did a great job! I'm looking forward to hearing more of her work.
THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU IF: You're looking for a cute, quick read to bring you into the holiday spirit!

Stellar Narration
The story is well-written and offers several surprises from where you expect the plot to go.
The narration is superb. Chloe is considerate of the emotion each line conveys and she captures them perfectly. She never goes overboard or distracts from the material

Christmas with some spice!
This book was just what I needed for my December weekend getaway. I can’t get enough of holiday reads right now, and this one was awesome! I enjoyed all of the characters. Caught myself chuckling out loud a few times on the plane. Narration can make or break an audiobook, and this one was so fun! Will definitely recommend to my book club.

The performance
I LOVED the narration. Each character voice was very distinct and really made it easy to step into their different perspectives. If you’re looking for a wholesome story turned steamy, turned wholesome again, give this a listen!

short sweet and hot!
This was a great little short story! It was less then 2 hours long but I still felt like a complete story. If you like forced proximity snowed in a cabin with one bed and only have a few hours check this one out! Chloé did an amazing job on the narration!

Book Review: A Very Merry Kissmas by Samantha Baca, Narrated by Chloé Godard
Samantha Baca’s A Very Merry Kissmas is an absolute delight—a holiday romance bursting with charm, warmth, and just the right amount of drama to keep you hooked. Told through the perspectives of Rich and Lucy, the story pulls you right into the heart of their blossoming relationship. While there’s plenty of mutual support and chemistry to go around, it’s Lucy’s growth that truly shines. Watching her discover her own strength and step into her best self is as satisfying as a mug of hot cocoa on a snowy night.
But let me tell you what makes this book truly unforgettable—Chloé Godard’s narration. She doesn’t just read the story; she lives it. Every nuance, every emotion, every moment feels so real, you’ll swear you know Rich and Lucy personally. Godard brings Lucy’s journey to life in a way that’s vibrant and relatable, making you root for her every step of the way. And Rich? Oh, she makes you feel his charm, too.
• A Very Merry Kissmas* is a story that’ll have you laughing, swooning, It’s a heartwarming reminder that relationships can inspire transformation—and that there’s nothing quite like a little holiday magic to shake up your world.
