About this listen

Do you remember where you were when Kennedy was shot? Do you remember what you were doing when the first plane hit the Twin Towers on 9-11? Do you remember where you were when the world as we knew it ended? Joe Boswel does and he will never forget as long as he lives. How long that will be is anyone’s guess. Captain Joe Boswel, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a fighter pilot who flew F-14 Tomcats off the deck of the USS Theodore Roosevelt during the last Gulf War, was the senior officer of the U.S. crew on the International Space Station. Bill Puler, a medical researcher and Dave McCain, a Biologist, made up the rest of the U.S. crew. On Earth below, a conspiracy between nations to seek revenge against the United States to end their dominance in world affairs, to send the U.S. back to the Middle Ages, comes together. A day before it all happens, the Russians unexpectedly transport their cosmonauts back to earth, leaving the three Americans as the only remaining inhabitants on the Space Station. On Earth below, Joe’s wife, Lori and his twin thirteen year old daughters, Milly and Mandy, go to Breaks Interstate Park in the mountains of Virginia and Kentucky for a quiet week’s getaway to enjoy nature. One evening while enjoying the view of the Earth from the space station, Joe, Bill and Dave can’t believe what they see happening below. Whatever happened below has also left them stranded in a dead space station with only enough heat and air to live for another seventy-two hours. Lori and the girls have no idea what has happened. All they know is something is very wrong. The clock is ticking and time is quickly running out for them all. Horror
