About this listen

Despite all the trials thrown in his path over the years, there was nothing but faith, hope, and grace to be found in Silas’s testimony.

The Village at Crossroad Corners is a tight-knit, traditional, community and a snapshot from the time before technology and big commerce became a mainstay in American culture. The community is rocked when the village council makes the shocking decision to allow a developer to build a dual-aged, residential community, that will house both the elderly and college aged students in a connecting network of buildings. It is an ambitious multi-generational plan, where students and retirees will learn to work together for each other’s benefit. As the development takes shape, new love, fresh starts, and brighter futures all take shape in ways that people never expected.

Silas is stoked about getting this new role helping to develop activities, building rules, and employment offerings for the students residing on one side of the new development. He is proud of what he has accomplished, but he struggles with trust after having many traumatic childhood experiences. Things don’t go as planned after meeting up with the local postmaster and soo, this fish out of the water, feels a pull toward the family and community for a final sense of belonging.

Kinsley has always felt loved and secure despite losing her mother during her birth. She and her father are best friends, and to this day, are the center of each other’s routines. The moment she meets Silas, she can’t get a feel for him, but there is something that her father sees in the quiet, odd man. As Silas begins to develop programs for building now going up at the edge of town, the amount of time they see and talk with each other expands and a relationship begins to develop between them.

The Village at Crossroad Corners series is based on Matthew 7:24-27. “A Wise Man” is the third book in this six-book series. Download this clean romance book to make you feel good about yourself and your world.
