About this listen

This book analyses the radical group ACORN as a metaphor for the overall radicalization of America. ACORN developed an octopus-like apparatus of hundreds of secretive interlocking groups that were funded by the top 1% richest Americans and by billions in taxpayer money. Their agenda was a transfer of power from elected representatives to appointed bureaucrats with themselves playing the role of shock-troops and middleman as they fattened their coffers and engaged in illegal activities. With decades of investigations for voter registration fraud, ACORN was finally exposed by Operation Veritas in 2009. While they allegedly went out of business, the infrastructure continues under other guises and the methodology, patented by Chicago community activist Saul Alinsky lives on. Politics & Government
