 Emma and Evany Quincy were the closest of sisters and even though they were a year apart, they were as close to being twins as even twins could be. Emma was the oldest and always tried her best to take care of her baby sister. They went everywhere and did anything and everything they could, together. They talked alike, dressed alike and a lot of the time they even thought alike.
Growing up in a happy, loving, crazy kind of family, made life very interesting in the Quincy household. They lived in a very small borough that had about five thousand residents. Just about everyone knew their neighbors, the shop keepers and most of the people that lived in the town. Pinebrook Point had been ranked as one of the nicest, safest places to live in the state of Florida and there had never been any real crimes committed in all of its history. It was almost like living in Mayberry, RFD which was a joke amongst the members of the community.
That scenario changed the day that little Evany Quincy went missing, and it seemed like she had just vanished into thin air. But, unfortunately for the town, it didn’t end there. Quite a few more young girls and a couple of young teen boys went missing too. All without a trace.
Rumors went around that they were abducted by aliens and then others said they probably ran away. Neither of those stories had any credibility to them at all, which left the local Sheriff and law enforcement stumped as well.
Sheriff Grimes was a pretty smart man, but he knew in this case he was in way over his head and since he had heard of Madison Monroe, the famous Private Investigator, he sent her an S.O.S. When she found out about the missing children, she and her husband Michael, got in their car and drove to Pinebrook Point. She needed to find out where those missing children had disappeared to and let the people of that town know she would do everything in her power to find them and bring them home safely.
