Miss Rutherford hat an einem Preisausschreiben teilgenommen und gewonnen. Als Gewinnerin darf Sie, in Begleitung, die Pinewood Studios in Wales besuchen. Aber als sie und Mister Stringer dort der Entstehung einer TV-Serienfolge beiwohnen, entspricht die Produktion so gar nicht ihren Erwartungen. Aber das ist schnell vergessen, als die Hauptdarstellerin während des Drehs um Leben kommt. Zu Überraschung Aller, ist der ermittelnde Inspektor sogar damit einverstanden, dass Miss Rutherford unterstützt. Ein Umstand, der auch bitter nötig ist, da schon nach kurzer Zeit 5 Mordverdächtige aufge-spürt sind. Aber wer von ihnen ist der wahre Mörder?
