So, the big problem lately on audible is the massive volume of fake reviews. So many accounting books have exactly 100 reviews, all perfect 5 star ratings, all submitted on the same day. A variant is all reviews still posted same day, but all are solid 4 star rating, so that at a glance you think the reviews are legit. At least, until you read the broken English. As for this book, I’ve been trying to find a decent intro to accounting book and had to settle for the ‘dummy’ franchise because I knew it would probably be decent... and it was. Too short, mildly helpful, if you have a credit to spare you might as well get it.

This book is the best book I've read to explain accounting to non-accountants. The concepts are presented in a simple but powerful manner. The topics covered encompass the most salient aspects of accounting for non-accountants. I am not sure non-accountants should bother starting with any other books.

Excellent, Concise Book For Non-Accountants

Good overview for those needing a macro view of accounting. Touches a wide breadth of topics and areas. Definitely worth 3 hours of your time. I was looking for resources for our operations team to better understand accounting. This is a good fit!

Solid resource for an overview of Accounting

there is no clear demarcation of topics, so hard to determine context, so it might need a few more headings

be better at introducing a topic

Most of the dummies series that I have read or listened to before had much more information in them. This entire book seemed like the introduction to the information that I am looking for. I am looking for basic accounting with small business applications.
This was a vague intro to accounting.

all Fluff
