Adrian is desperate for a safe place to land. Recently widowed, she needs to find a new home for herself and her three children, but will an aging matchmaker be able to help? As the new century dawns, fewer men are looking for mail-order brides, but when a man sends for a cook and housekeeper, Adrian is all in. Interesting Characters But Limited Story

I enjoyed the story but felt the story was limited. The characters made this book memorable. Adrian's grief is never really handled nor that of the children's. Like most of the AI voices, it is flat. And you cannot tell when it shifts from one character to the other.
