About this listen

"Love might tug and tug again, but never more should the trousers of passion break away from the tough, masterful braces of self-control."

A wonderful adventure between a rich man and his butler. Again, P.G. Wodehouse comes up with a great experience for all listeners.

Would you consider the audio edition of Ahead of Schedule to be better than the print version?

No.

What other book might you compare Ahead of Schedule to and why?

Almost every other Wodehouse story (and I mean that in a good way).

Did David Ian Davies do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Yes: by making some more annoying than the rest, others more distinctly monotonous, etc.
...To be honest this is rather an unfair appraisal flavoured by my annoyance as mentioned below. The character voices are very good overall, and definitely distinctive.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes -- the whole thing moved me to write this review.

Any additional comments?

For some, reason, the narrator seems, to insert, random pauses, everywhere, except between, sentences this makes, the. Reading somewhat, difficult to listen, to I rather wonder, if, the, audio may have been, run through, a computer, program, that automatically excises sections, of silence? either way I found, this, so, distracting that I, had some difficulty, enjoying, the story.
