The Book of the Law, the holy text that forms the basis of Thelema, was transmitted to Crowley by the entity known as Aiwass in Cairo, on three successive days during April 1904. Acting as a medium, Crowley recorded the communications on hotel notepads and later organized his automatic writing into a short, coherent document. Aiwass/Crowley presents The Book of the Law as an expression of three god-forms in three chapters: Nuit, Hadit, and Ra-Hoor-Khuit.

Widely regarded as his major work, Crowley's Magick in Theory and Practice is an extensive treatise on magick, a system of Western occult practice synthesized from many sources, including Eastern yoga, hermeticism, medieval grimoires, contemporary magical theories, and Crowley's own original contributions. As important today as when it was first written, Magick in Theory and Practice is essential listening for anyone interested in occultism.

The Book of Lies, or Liber 333, is a holy book in the Western occult tradition of Thelema, consisting of 91 short chapters of poems, aphorisms, rituals, and metaphysics. This recording is of the original 1913 publication, and thus omits the further commentaries added by Crowley for subsequent additions. Those familiar with Crowley’s hermetic writings will recognize his subversive and playful style.

The Greater Key of Solomon is a compilation of Solomonic magic drawn from various manuscripts of the 15th to 17th centuries. The Lesser Key of Solomon includes step- by-step guides for invocation, evocations in the Enochian language as well as definitions and explanations for the ancient terms used in the work. The Testament of Solomon is a pseudoepigraphical work in a first-person narrative, which tells the story of the creation of the magical ring of King Solomon that he used to bind and control various demons.

The Book of Lies (full title: Which is also Falsely Called BREAKS. The Wanderings or Falsifications of the One Thought of Frater Perdurabo, which Thought is itself Untrue. Liber CCCXXXIII) was written by English occultist and teacher Aleister Crowley (using the pen name of Frater Perdurabo) and first published in 1912. As Crowley describes it: "This book deals with many matters on all planes of the very highest importance. It is an official publication for Babes of the Abyss, but is recommended even to beginners as highly suggestive."
