Publisher's summary

Doctor Charles Montgomery and his wife, US Supreme Court Justice Vivian Alexander, have adopted many abandoned and health-challenged orphans. They have raised these children from babies to explore their worlds and seek the careers that inspire them.

From a youngster unable to walk after a car crash that killed her biological family, Linda Montgomery grows to become a world-renowned prima ballerina.

Brian Montgomery survived being born addicted to drugs to become Phi Beta Kappa and manager of the Alex-Mont ranches in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina.

Genevieve Montgomery was born co-joined with her twin brother, abandoned by their biological family and considered freaks. Yet, she grew to be a captain in the US Coast Guard and her twin brother a medical doctor like their adopted father.

Then, there is Samantha Montgomery, who the police found in an alley as a toddler being cared for by other abandoned children in the dead of winter. Now, she is the head of her own textile firm and travels the world for shows and exhibits.

Charles and Vivian Alexander Montgomery infuse their offspring with the love of family and enjoy the fruits of the labor through the lives of the Alex-Mont kids. Yet, it’s time for these young adults' next steps and stages of life to explore a love of a different kind. Can they bring what they have experienced from childhood into loving relationships of their own as adults?

Great Read

Alex-Mont Kids Saga Box Set 1: Episodes 1 - 4 was a great read by Ann Jeffries. This box set consists of; An Ulterior Motive, A Forever Kind of Love, Walking on the Wilde Side, and All That Glitters Ain't Gold. An Ulterior Motive: The Alex-Mont Kids Saga #1 was a good read by Ann Jeffries. Will Hamilton is a sports icon that is known to the world as The Hammer. Linda Lewis is a prima ballerina who goes incredibly fast on her pointed toes. Will isn't usually a classical ballet guy but when he sees Linda, he's mesmerized. Linda is known to the theatre world as "The Black Swan". She fears that her body will fail her and her career would end. She wants to figure out what she will do with her life then. Her security team must also keep her safe from a stalker. A Forever Kind of Love: The Alex-Mont Kids Saga #2 was a good read by Ann Jeffries. Brian Montgomery has lived a good life as the son of Chuck and Vivian Alexander Montgomery. He's the general manager of his family's Alex-Mont Ranches in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and South Carolina. He has thirty-plus siblings, most of which were adopted as health-challenged infants or toddlers. KiLe Hakamora finds the man she's been with for two years with his hand under a blonde's skirt. She blindly ran from that scene into a log cabin, and came face to face with a naked Brian. KiLe crashed into his life and changed it forever. Walking on the Wilde Side: The Alex-Mont Kids Saga #3 was a good read by Ann Jeffries. Simon Wilde is a former US Navy SEAL who now works for a secret world enforcement agency. He returns from a three month mission to find three murdered victims in his house. DC Police Detective Eve Montgomery, just closed a complicated undercover case. She can't wait for a few days off to rest and relaxation. But is called into take point on the murder at Simon's house. Drive by shots are fired at Eve and Simon and they must hide out to stay safe. All That Glitters Ain't Gold: The Alex-Mont Kids Saga #4 was a great read by Ann Jeffries. Samantha Montgomery was a young textile designer who never expected to come face to face again with her one and only love. Samuel is also the man who broke her heart in high school. She has an accidental meeting with Samuel, his son, his sister, and his older brother Quentin. Quentin always had been interested in Samantha but thought her and Samuel were the ones who were meant to be together. Unfortunately his parents may be the people who can keep them apart from each other. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more in this series. I loved Kelley Hazen's narration and the life she brings to the characters.

A Great Collection

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it fun.   The second generation is having as much fun finding love and their place in the world as their parents did.   The adventures of Linda, Brian, Eve and Samantha are featured in this collection of stories of the 30 plus children of Charles and Vivian Alexander Montgomery .   All these books are based on family and friends and it can be uplifting listening at times and at others you just find yourself laughing out loud and you have to back it up because you missed something.  The interesting and intriguing characters keep you listening, wondering what unexpected twist will happen next.   It's great that you have four stories to listen to before you need to find more tales from this family.

Family Affairs

I did enjoy listening to this box set book do to the characters and narration. Chuck and Vivian Alexander Montgomery have multi-cultural family most adopted. Book 1 is about primarily 2 people Linda Lewis and Will Hamilton and their relationship. I loved the entire Lewis family and the surprise of one of Linda’s stalker and ending. Book 2 is mostly about their son Brian and KiLe as they develop their friendship then love. Book 3 about their daughter Eve a police detective and ex-coast guard officer and pilot. She is working on multiple murder case that occurred at Simon Wilde’s home. He is an ex-navy seal and is a reporter and found his ex-girlfriend and a couple of her friends murder, he also comes from a well-known famous family. Both of the main characters are likable as they become romantically involved, there is a lot of action and suspense in the book as well as some sexually situations especially at the end. There are too many family members to mention and some of the main characters are updated from previous books at the Christmas gathering. Book 4 is mostly about their daughter Samantha and her reunion of high school Sam King as well as he’s older brother Quentin. I really dislike Mrs. King and all her prejudices/anti-racial for the family. Look forward to next books on and all the upcoming births. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. THANK YOU

An amazing family

Charles Montgomery and Vivian Alexander have built an incredible life together. Their growing family is made up of biological as well as adopted children, all of whom are loved very much. This box set includes stories of four of their adult children as the are forging their own paths forward.

Ann Jeffries has written many stories about a multi-generational family. As I have had the pleasure of listening to many of the stories, I fell like I really know each of the family members. I have enjoyed getting to know this next generation.

I am so pleased that Kelley Hazen has narrated this box set. I love how she consistently voices the characters and brings out their personalities and emotions.
