About this listen

Novalyn Bryce is a student, tending bar at night to put herself through school in New York City. She has no family, few friends, and no romantic prospects.

Odrik Nuh'ar of Qetesh is seven feet tall, with skin the color of honey. He is a warrior hunter with rippling muscles and ink black hair, and horns that wrapped around his head like a crown.

The Qet are a proud, tribal people, who were settled on the planet Qetesh 200 or so years ago. Over those 200 years, most of their females have died off, leaving them on the brink of extinction.

The government, in conjunction with an intergalactic agency known only as The Echelon - a group that serves to keep the balance of the universe in check - has been plucking human women up out of their lives to bring them to Qetesh as potential mates to keep the proud people from dying out entirely.

Novalyn Bryce is one such woman.

Alien Alpha is a 50,000 word alien/sci-fi romance novel containing scorching sex scenes and adult content. The lush planet of Qetesh, rife with tall, chiseled alpha males, menacing alien tribes, and a complete dearth of suitable women. Listen at your own risk!

Pretty good story!

Okay, I try to be honest in all my reviews, so I have to admit there was just something about the narration in this story that threw me off listening. The story itself was pretty good, though I think I would have thrown a bigger fit than the heroine did about being abducted, lol. The ending was a happy one so it made listening till the end worth it. Still, I’d hesitate to buy another book with the narrator because she seemed kind of stiff with her diction.

Good quick listen

If you like sci-fi romances you will like this one. It's fast, hot, and has adventure.

I enjoyed narration and keep me interested in the story. She has narrated other stories I've listened to and she does a great job with bringing the story alive.

Need a new voice

The story was unique and good. The performance was a rushed narrative. Otherwise, I liked it.

Sexiness with excellent diction

Alien scifi sexy romance with excellent language and diction. Novalyn Bryce is kidnapped from Earth by a representative of the Echelon as a mate, and ends up on a planet with Odrik Nuh'ar of the Qetesh, a very large, but respectful & even-tempered leader with horns & black eyes. The language and diction are so excellent that it adds a quirky element to the story that I enjoyed. It also adds a dignity to Odrik that offsets the beastliness of his horns; and promotes a nobility of demeanor;;-) Recommend

UUggggg

Even though I finished listening to this book, I really wish I hadn't. Nova is a whiner and thinks too freaking much. Aldric was way too good for Nova. He was sweet and kind. The choice of narrator was not a good one. I really wanted to like this book but I just cant.
