About this listen
Here's what reviewers are saying about All Dogs Go to Heaven:
- I’ve been an animal lover all my life and I found this book delightful!
- This book was given as a gift after our 15 year old Shih Tzu went to Heaven. A charming story of the gift our special pets bring to our lives while being spiritually enriched by the author’s strong faith.
- This book is charming and enlightening . If you've ever had a pet or experienced an encounter with a friendly animal where you looked into their eyes, you must have felt that animal's heart sand soul.
Henry was the first Newfoundland dog I adopted from rescue.
Then there was Georgie, Charlie, Kiki and now Buddy.
With Henry’s passing, Kiki and Buddy are a new generation of adopted Newfoundland dogs sharing my home. Ten years of rescued dogs, who have actually rescued me more times than I can count. I never quite decided to write a book of essays about my dogs. That is, until I realized they were often central characters in the faith column I write for the Summit Daily News. Which makes sense, since “living alone” isn’t a valid description of life with two or more 150-pound dogs.
This insight made me think more about what my dogs have taught me over the years and they’ve helped me to understand what God wants me to know about being a better person.

Virtual voice, beautiful story
First virtual voice, was different and hard to follow at first but you get used to it. Wish it was narrated by someone to get a more personal feel for the stories of her pups
