About this listen
What if your husband doesn't come home after work...or the next day...or the next?
In rural post-Civil War Mississippi, the virgin woods offer cover for bands of outlaws. Underdeveloped roads provide limited transportation for the settlers. Most farmhouses stand miles apart. All Her Dreams of Love weaves tension into an inspirational romance set in a harrowing struggle to survive.
When Nancy O'Reilly lies in bed at night, the cries of bobcats, panthers, and owls in the nearby Cohay Swamp remind her how lonely her life is. She doesn't know how she can manage their remote farm while she takes care of her little son. Because she has a baby on the way, she experiences tender feelings, and she needs the gentle touch that her husband has provided.
Without the man she loves, Nancy doesn't know how she can carry on. Where will she find the strength?
If you liked The Dream Bucket, don't miss this absorbing tale of the power of love. Join Nancy on her journey to resilience. Buy your copy now of All Her Dreams of Love.

A wholesome, engaging story of love and survival
I love this engaging story of love and survival set in the grit of history, and it rings true and touching for anytime. I fell in love with little Tommy immediately, and I learned interesting facts of history along the way. ALL HER DREAMS OF LOVE is a story of faith and family that brings history to life in a captivating manner for young and old and anytime in between. Its drama, romance, grit and comedy make it a great addition not only to to my Audible library but also as a gift for my loved ones.
I didn't want the story to end, so I guess I will listen to it again....and again.

Surviving and Thriving with Her New Normal
After listening to this entire story, I find the title a little peculiar. It declares this story is all about love while also suggesting that, perhaps, the heroine is a bit of a dreamer. Neither could be further from the truth. The heroine is exceedingly practical and just gets it done despite hardships like pregnancy, bringing in the harvest, and trying to find her missing husband. She has a quiet strength and builds community with her neighbors as they support each other in various ways, though she has a hard time seeking help from others when her strength isn't quite enough to get the job done. We never meet her husband, whom she supposedly loves, and it takes a bit to find out why. I don't think the villain of the piece was given enough motivation for his horrendous act that changed the course of her life; it was never really explained, which it needed to be because his actions were so extreme. Her seven-year-old son and her neighbor's three-year-old daughter are absolutely darling, and her little boy must take on more and more responsibility as his father remains missing. Her new neighbor, a widower, is accommodating—as is a nearby black family—and you can't help but see the spark of attraction between them. But as the story with her husband does not resolve until near the end, it doesn't really feel like much of a true romance. Instead, it’s definitely one of the forbidden type, which doesn’t quite sit right for a decidedly Christian romance. At times, it felt more like historical chick lit about a strong woman finding a way through her new, confusing normal.

A Great Romance
The writer develops a great romance developed around farm life in the mid south. This book keeps the reader interested the whole way through watching the characters develop a romance while making a farm a success. This is a great read and will be enjoyed by all who read it.

All Her Dreams of Love!
This is a historical romance that is inspirational and sweet. The characters are warm and engaging. Her husband has disappeared and she finds strength and acceptance with her situation. She has a couple of good neighbors that help her. I really like the story but wish some things has been explained more.
