Publisher's summary

From USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR Claudia Burgoa comes this billionaire workplace accidental pregnancy romance that’ll leave listeners laughing and swooning!

What happens when you break the cardinal rule?

I’m good at following rules.

Like don’t sleep with your hot employees. That’s a good rule.

At least I was until that night. I blame the champagne and the tuxedo he wore.

There are several reasons why I shouldn’t be attracted to Elliot McPhee.

He’s emotionally unavailable.

He’s in his mid-forties—too old for me.

He’s my employee.

He’s jaded after a disastrous divorce.

He’s leaving soon.

But he has gray eyes, and a deep velvety voice…did I mention he looks like Joshua Jackson?

I can’t resist.

It's just a one-night stand before he leaves.

Except, things get complicated.

We’re talking two bright pink lines complicated.

Did I mention he has no desire to commit?

So, we agree not to try.

Except, we can’t keep our hands off each other.

Then I find out he’s not who I thought.

He’s so wrong for me. So why do I still want to create a family with him?

Along Came You is a forbidden age gap romance involving a secret billionaire and an accidental baby. Get ready to laugh, swoon, and be seduced by sexy billionaires willing to please their women!

Elliot & Fern are my fav 💜

I have to say that this was a great addition to the series! Not only that, but it became my fav in the series so far (don't tell Aslan that, let's keep it between us).

We met Elliot a while back, and after it, I wanted a story about him for the longest time. I honestly loved and enjoyed every second of this book; the story gave me all the feels, and I immediately fell in love with the characters.

Elliot carries baggage from the past; he secretly blames himself for things he is not at fault for and tries to convince himself that the life of "solitude" he is living is the one he wants. However, things will take a turn after he meets Fern.

Fern is very independent; she has been through painful moments that shaped her into the strong woman she is today. Fern is constantly taking care of everybody, looking for a way to help others as much as possible, but who takes care of her? She often forgets she deserved good things too.

Fern & Elliot are both as stubborn as they can get. Fern & Elliot try to deny the tension, connection, chemistry, and feelings between them, but they can't live in denial forever. Throughout the story, both characters will go through growth, and I loved it. I swoon with how Elliot took it upon himself to care for Fern the way she has never allowed anyone else to do. Fern brought a side from Elliot that I don't think he even realized he had anymore, but he only needed the right person by his side.

I can't recommend this book enough, and I think the narrators did an amazing job!

I loved Fern & Elliot's Story

Elliot carries guilt over past family tragedy, Fern has carried the weight of raising her siblings when their mother was absent. I loved this insta-connection, age-gap, secret billionaire romance. Claudia Burgoa has a lovely and heartbreaking style of writing family, friendships, healing hearts, and swoon-worthy romance. When Elliot offers to aid in Fern’s dream to build an affordable community in California, sparks fly between the two. Fern and Elliot have a steamy, heartwarming, tear-jerker workplace love story that will melt your heart. I love the way the Spearmans welcome Elliot into their lives as he volunteers his time to help build the community project. Family dynamics, life changes and unexpected bonds are formed in this age-gap, second chance at love romance.

Connor Crais and Stephanie Németh-Parker are brilliant as Elliot and Fern. Connor’s performance of Elliot’s tormented, handsome, maverick character is everything! Stephanie gives a beautiful performance to bring Fern’s young, heartfelt, witty, kind-hearted personality to life. Connor and Stephanie do a terrific job of voicing all the ancillary, big-family characters. Fern and Elliot’s altruistic-minded, compassionate, big-hearted characters and Claudia Burgoa’s heart-wrenching, sweet, flirty story make this a lovely listening adventure!

Touched My Heart...

I think Fern's and Elliot story has become my favorite in this series so far because this one touched so much on real pain that families can go through, and I could totally relate to.

Both Elliot and Fern have a real fear of commitment that has come from traumatizing past experiences.
They both help heal each other and learn to love wholly and want a forever. This story really touched my heart!

Connor Crais and Stephanie Nemeth Parker are perfect in narrating this story and made me feel all the emotions .

“Elliot, having three older brothers made me want to be as strong, independent, and stubborn as them. It was hard to keep up, but I had to do it. It wasn’t until you came along that I understood that I don’t need to beat them to be happy or to succeed. Most importantly, I learned that I can lean on others and take breaks. “That it’s okay to let others love me and learn how to love myself. You taught me just that, to believe in myself and take everything one day at a time. Thank you for loving me and my crazy family. Most of all, thank you for our babies. Thank you for wanting to share the rest of your life with me."

So darn good

Having read and loved the the first two books in this latest series I was looking forward to reading Fern Spearman and Elliot McPhee ‘s story. I know when I pick up a book by Ms. Burgoa that I am in for an emotional, heart warming story with characters that are engaging and whose story you cannot help but become invested in.
I love the Spearman family so when I heard this was Fern’s story I couldn’t wait to dive in. All it takes is one night to change the course of one’s life and that’s what happens for Fern and Elliot. After being badly hurt and still recovering from his divorce, Elliott has closed himself off to everyone. Until one night he throws caution to the wind and that is when the complications start.
Connor Crais and Stephanie Nemeth Parker did a wonderful job with their narration and for me they were spot on to represent Elliot and Fern. Their voices are easy to listen to and they did justice to the characters and the wonderful story that Ms. Burgoa wove.
I loved the journey that Fern and Elliot embarked on and although it was rocky at times, it was entertaining. This was a great addition to the Paradise Bay series and I am excited for the next book in the series.

Sweet and sexy accidental pregnancy romance!

Along Came You by Claudia Burgoa was a sweet and sexy accidental pregnancy billionaire romance! I loved everything about Elliot and Fern's slow-burn journey to HEA! This is book 3 in the Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers series but could be listened to as a stand-alone.

This audiobook is narrated by Connor Crais and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker. This is the first time I've heard these two paired together, and both narrator's performances helped me easily fall in love with both characters. Connor was a fantastic performing Elliot's reluctant, yet charismatic persona as he figured out his true feelings for Fern and their future. Stephanie was amazing in portraying Fern's determined, hesitant, and passionate personality as she went after her hopes, dreams, and desires (with Elliot). Both narrators brought the simmering heat with Elliot and Fern's fiery chemistry!

Overall, I enjoyed this book! If you are a fan of billionaire romance with a hot charming wealthy hero, a strong-willed heroine with a vision, big families, workplace relations, weddings, slow burn steamy times, business investments, an accidental pregnancy, and a HEA that will leave your heart super full and super happy, then you will love Elliot and Fern's romance. I'm looking forward to more from Claudia Burgoa.

Wonderful Story & Listen! Captivating & Heartfelt!

I am loving this series and the Spearman siblings, well before this book I would have said I loved the Spearman brothers, but Claudia Burgoa made love their sister, Fern, just as much, maybe even more since she was their rock and the glue who helped keep them all together, maybe not single-handedly but she was there for all of them and continues to be.And if the Spearman’s are not enough to love this book, add Elliott McPhee into the mix and wow, just wow. The man is everything you want and don’t want in a man, good looks, power, charm, smarts, drive, money and did I mention good looks, oh yeah, he is a winner and a catch, except he does not want to be caught. He had met the love of his life, married her, then blew it all and he never got over that and never wanted to, he just built a fortress around his heart and locked the doors. But a chance meeting with a girl who was just looking for a table to eat her lunch turned into something way more and possibly found someone who could open the doors to his heart. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is beautifully plotted with a perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions, a touch of angst, humor, and a wonderful romance. Claudia Burgoa, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Connor Crais and Stephanie Nemeth Parker are superbly talented narrators and voice artists. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that was a perfect fit for their character’s persona, and were believable in every role they played. Crais nailed it as Elliott and Parker did the same for Fern, both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured their characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance and had you feeling every single one. They set the perfect tone for the story, handled the witty dialogue with ease and never missed a beat. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances the amazing story another level. Thank you for another wonderful listen.

Enjoyed the narration as much as the story.

I enjoyed this story. Fern was determined to prove herself, and she was strong enough to do it. I definitely liked her spunk. She was quite a workaholic but knew when she needed help. Elliot was loyal to his family but spent most of his time traveling, unable to settle in one place. Fern gave him something to settle for. Their love snuck up on them but packed quite a punch. I recommend this story.

I also enjoyed very much the narration by Connor Crais and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker. They gave such voices to the characters it kept me listening.

I received the audiobook as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.

Elliot has ruined me for future bookboyfriends!

Be still my romance loving heart. It's possible Elliot has ruined me for all future book boyfriends!!

Stephanie and Connor took a book I loved already and found a way to make me love it even more!! Connor as Elliot is a dream.
Stephanie voiced Fern so beautifully and gave her character all the emotion I felt when reading this book!

Elliott has a shattered heart that's left him keeping his family at arms length. He's been going from one project to the next but places temporary roots to be there for his sister and best friend when they welcome another baby to their family. He meets Fern and ends up helping her foundation.

Fern is the caretaker of the family, the one all the siblings go to for everything. Their mother is not my favorite person to be honest. She completely checked out after the father died and left Fern and the triplets to raise their younger siblings.

This book is just another example of why I'll always choose Claudia's books. There's so much heart and soul, family is important always, and love, so much love. I want to exist in one of her worlds.

Spearman Fam

I'm loving the Spearman Fam!
Love these narrators (always!)
Just wish the pronunciation of Mya was the same by both characters.
Elliot kept pronouncing it as May a
previous book pronounced Mya.

Finding True Love

I love Fern and Elliott's story. I am so glad Elliott got his own book and HEA. I felt bad for him when he and Hazel parted ways. Connor and Stephanie are perfect as Elliott and Fern. I love their voices!
