The narrator’s abysmal pronunciation of foreign names and terms, and especially his pronunciation of Nathaniel as Nay-thaniel.

An Excellent Overall History of the Revolution

Story Throws out 1000 sound bites. Lacks continuity as in a story or narrative. It’s like someone gathered factoids about the Revolution War and just joined them by writing them down. Sorry; but difficult to picture the era, the situation, the event.

Lacks continuity, choppy

There is a lot of archaic language, but overall it's a very good book. There are some areas where the narrator's accent sneaks out.

An excellent book

Poetic elegance well-spoken by an Old English sounding narrator. this review of the wharf for independence is particularly detailed about the early politics of the revolution. the Western Indian campaigns and the conclusive Southern campaigns which are often not covered as well. in other histories. you will need a map to follow the action as the areas covered are not well known by other than amateur geographers. there are some omissions of famous and favorite battles, but the length is about right for a detailed but brought overview of the entire war. enjoy!

elegant but bring a map

Should a casual reader, or student, of the period, desire a touchstone overview focusing on the events, politics of nations, and critical persons involved in the American Revolution, this narrative delivers a well organized compilation of facts and a pleasure to read.

A comprehensive narrative

Great overview of the revolution. Occasionally did into to details and she's light on lesser known heroes. Unfortunately provides no details of these men and women. Good detail of events and let known back stories.

Good thumbnail of the revolution.
