While his descriptions of both parties and agendas are well known, what he provides is an interesting take on why they will both fail. Neither side will want to read this book and see their weaknesses exposed. But for those who are interested in understanding why America is on a collision course of transformation, it is quite a read.

The surprise is that while this is a book about politics, his exposure of both parties’ weaknesses is grounded in spirituality. For most readers, it will not be what they expect to find. The last chapter is titled The Path Forward, and it is an outline of where America is headed after the political cold war ends in a stalemate with no winner.
