About this listen

He has no name. No past. Only a number.
When Agent 917 wakes in a seedy motel room, his memory is gone. Mission orders await on an encrypted phone.

A dime-sized implant pulses beneath his skull, unlocking violent instincts he can’t explain and tasks he never agreed to. The only thing he knows? He is supposed to kill someone and when it is done, he can go back to sleep.

Agent 917 is a ghost in the system, programmed to eliminate evil at its source. His missions:

  • Take down a sadistic surgeon.

  • Infiltrate a satanic cult beneath the streets of New York.

  • Hunt a killer who’s burning San Francisco to the ground.

But each job fractures the wall of artificial amnesia. Flickers of a past life surface. A daughter. A betrayal. A choice.

And now, the most dangerous question of all:
What happens if 917 stops following orders?

Packed with explosive action, razor-wire tension, and a hero you’ll never forget, Amnesia launches a gripping new thriller trilogy perfect for fans of Jason Bourne, Jack Reacher, and Orphan X.

excellent

I thought this short story was excellent. It had a captivating story line with a lot of suspense. The ending was soooo good.
I must say that I had a hard time accessing the review option. This is probably why there's no previous reviews.

A Good Story Spoiled

The Virtual Voice detracted from an otherwise enjoyable story. Female voices are ignored throughout though there were numerous female characters.
